7:58 am - keep telling yourself that you love her...
Its been a long time since my last update. Not much new, hence the lack of updates, that and I'm lazy. I do know that I get the next 4 days off, 2 of which will be paid days off, sweet. Work has been so so lately. I have been working an astronomical amount of hours lately. December is shaping up to 3 straight weeks of 6 and 7 day weeks.

On other work related news, I took great pleasure in firing an employee last night. I found her asleep in her car while her machine was down for a change over. This employee has been nothing but a problem since she hired in. GOOD RIDDANCE. I absolutely can not stand it when people take no responsibility for their actions such as this employee on many different occasions. I've know many people through my life that have been completely oblivious to the reality of life and are unwilling to be accountable for their actions. Makes me fucking sick!

On a positive note, I played the new Xbox 360 the other day. I wasn't blown away by it like I thought I would be. I don't care much for the controller and the graphics didn't seem to be anything to write home about. Now, take note. This was my first encounter with the 360 and I only played for about 5 minuets. I still plan to buy one in the near future after a price drop.

Well, I'm going to bed so I can get up early and see my parents.

Big thanks to Lance and Matt... I really appreciate it...

7:31 am - oh how cute...
I'm working the next 12 days straight, we'll see how I feel later. The strange thing is that I don't hate going to work, I actually love it.

Ok, I guess I don't really have anything else.

What a disappointment.

7:29 am - you are so lame...
Lance it's been a while since I last talked to you, are you still alive? I'll give you a call soon.

Work was very enjoyable last night. I don't think I have had that light of a night in a while. Just one write up and only three people out sick. Man, it was a breeze.

I'm thinking about getting a subscription to Xbox live. I need to check with my internet provider first.

Ok...

4:04 am - work and more work...
Hello to everyone in LJ land. I hope all is well, you are not forgotten, I'm just super busy.

There is talk of 7 Day work weeks coming... I don't know how I feel about, the money would be good but I do enjoy my free time.

You've never had a bad day at work until you fire an employee who desperately needs the job to support his new daughter. A grown man crying in my office. It was hard.

I'm excited about my trip back to Michigan. I know it's still like 2 months away but I can't wait to see everyone. Lance and Ben, Halo 2 night at least once during the week that I'm home between Christmas and New Years. Lance, you can't poop out either, I want a killer effort the entire night ;-)

Ok, time to go fool around.

9:07 am - just you wait...
Look out Nashville... Peanut and the boys from Sweet 118 along with THE Dave Brown, Molly and myself will be tearing the town up come 2 more days. I can't wait, you just don't even understand how excited I am.

Tomorrow, Molly and I are going to look at a couple of houses for sale in Madison. We'll see.

I'm going to go pay rent, take it easy.

10:44 am - wow...
Today might have been the greatest day at work of all time... I received a $1000 bonus on top of my already monster overtime. Nothing but more overtime in sight, which is a good thing, even if I complain about it. I also now have the capability to do a large chuck of my work from my computer at home. Emerson starting 10/3 will have a network for their database that I can access from home. Sweet, sweet, sweet. No more remembering crap at home that I can't do anything about until I go back in.

It's so Rock and Roll right now.

But it is 10:30am and I'm still not in bed yet, so I guess I should make my way there.

7:37 am - half way out of the cave...
Talked with Lance tonight, that was nice. I've been very sentimental lately. People at work are probably sick of hearing about my friends back home.

I've fired 11 people in the past two days. My employees are pissing me off, they need to understand that they work a full time job, that means they don't get to pick there own schedule. Other than my employees acting up, work is great. I'm building some good relationships at Copeland. Also there have been rumors of 7 day weeks coming up. The money would be ridiculous.

I have plans to be in Nashville the weekend of the 30th. Thats if I'm not working overtime. It'll be good.

The week between Christmas and New Years I'll be back in Michigan. I must have one solid night of 4 xbox Halo 2 going on. A standard 4 xbox Halo 2 night also includes Taco Bell among other necessities.

6:58 pm - waiting...
stood face to face with the enemy... then shook his hand.

I had one of my employees ask me for a letter of recommendation yesterday. I've never written a letter of recommendation before, it's probably going to be lame.

I did have a lot to write about, but my parents just walked in the door. So... I'll catch everyone later.

8:40 am - and here we go...
So, its been a while since my last update. Lots of stuff going on.

Molly and I were pre-approved for a home loan. The search for a house is getting more serious.

My parents are in town.

Molly's parents will be in town next week.

I now have a set of golf clubs, I just have to learn how to use them now.

I'm going to work on building a Fender Champ over next couple of weeks.

I miss my Xbox and yet it is only 20 feet away. I LOVE YOU XBOX!!!

One line at a time gets the job done.

7:34 am - and here is to you...
We had some nasty weather last night. It was next to impossible to drive to work and the Copeland facility lost power for about an hour.

I think I'm going to play in the annual Copeland golf tournament in September. You know why? Because I can, it doesn't matter that I don't know how to play yet. Plus, it's a four man scramble, so I'll be just fine.

2:49 am - good bye...
Jack Sandborn passed away yesterday. Jack was a great man, I have known him for 14 plus years. I use to spend hours in his garage working on cars or just talking with him about anything and everything. That man could fix anything that was broken. Jack gave me my first tube radio and a box full of spare tubes so that I could learn how they worked.

My father talked to him the night before, nothing seemed wrong, he passed to quickly. Jack was in his mid 80's and was more active than myself, I never thought of him passing away.

This is hard...

Good luck to my parents, they are having a home inspection today.

P.S. My prayers are with you and you know who you are... it looks dark now, just hang in there. I may not be close but I'm here for anything you need.

I have a lot of phone calls to make and yet, here I sit. I'm so bad about keeping in contact with people sometimes, work has me just exhausted. Maybe tonight.

3:44 am - tired...
I've spent a good portion of my night doing a layout for my new amp that I'm building. I really dislike going from a schematic to an actual layout. The amp is going to have two 6v6 in push pull with a 12at7 in the preamp. It's going to be a fairly clean sounding amp. I'm going to order the rest of the parts in the next week or so.

I've been exhausted all day, I don't know what my deal is.

3:18 am - N & D Boots
It's the weekend, I feel good. There was talk about having me supervise some overtime on 1st shift this Saturday morning, but I don't even feel like it, so I don't think it going to happen.

Molly and I went to Decatur today, we picked up my work boots. After that, we drove around looking at houses for sale and some subdivisions in the Huntsville area. I'm excited about buying a house in the near future. It's a good step forward.

I really miss playing Halo 2, those are some of my most memorable times over at the Truax home.

Ok, I'm going to get a snack of some sort and go watch a little TV.

8:13 am - holy shit...
I just got home from work. Talk about hell. I had two work related injuries to deal with, people walking out and a bunch of new jobs to fill. My head is killing me.

Other than that, life is pretty damn good.

7:21 am - chicken fingers
I found a short cut home today, it shaved an easy 15 min. off my trip home.

Work, started out pretty chaotic, but it calmed down thank God. I dislike having to fire people on the spot.

I think Molly and I are going to buy a house when our lease is up in 9 months. Renting an apartment is just like throwing money away, we should be building equity.

Lance, I got your message. I was asleep when you called.

It was a slow day, not much to report.

I think I have decided to start playing golf. It seems like a smart thing to do.

For now, I'm going to play GTA.

2:23 am - the rock show...
Molly and I had a good time at the show tonight. It was an outdoor show and the bands used a flat bed semi-trailer for the stage, it was a good show. I think it was my first straight Hardcore show, I was a little unsure if I was going to enjoy nothing but hardcore but low and behold, good stuff.

If you get the chance, check out a band call My Children My Bride. They are from Huntsville and are pretty good. They have some shows scheduled in Michigan and Canada coming up.

I also ordered a pair of Dr. Marten Industrial Boots for work today. Cost to me, zero. Sweet.
